                    What We Believe

God

There is one God, existent as three persons –

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

They are one in purpose and desire, but different in

ministry.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life,

and fulfilled a vicarious and atoning death, was resurrected

and who also ascended to the right hand of the Father.

He will return to this earth in power and glory.

The Bible

The Bible is the only inspired Holy Scripture which cannot be

broken; it is inspired of the Holy Spirit and written for our

benefit.

Salvation

A person must be born again in order to enter the Kingdom of

God according to the Scriptures. This experience is freely given

to all who repent and accept the sacrifice of the precious blood

of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin by faith.

The seal of salvation is received by the confession that Jesus

Christ is Lord.

Righteousness

Righteousness is God’s gift to believers who are saved through

faith. This is accomplished through the regeneration of the Holy

Spirit and is fundamental to personal salvation. The sanctifying

power of the Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a righteous

life.

Healing

Bodily healing and deliverance, through the redemptive death

of Jesus Christ on the cross, is available to all who will call out

on His name.

Water Baptism

Water baptism is performed by full immersion according to the Scriptures. It is the responsibility of each believer to be baptised in water when they can fully understand the meaning of repentance  of sin. This baptism signifies the kind of life and

doctrine, or holy separation from this world, to be followed

thereafter.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

This experience, subsequent to salvation, is received by those who ask for it. The gifts of the spirit are described in Corinthians chapter 12.

Holy Communion

Jesus Christ commanded believers to ‘break bread’ in remembrance of Him as a symbolic gesture of His complete work on the cross – His body and blood are enough for the forgiveness of sins and the complete healing of the entire man.

Eternity

There is a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous from the dead, the righteous to eternal life and the unrighteous to eternal death. When Jesus Christ returns the Rapture of the Church will occur.
